I have developed my own recipe and use this substrate with great success for my own hoyas. So I can wholeheartedly recommend it, especially to those who tend to overwater (like me).
I only use high-quality locally sourced materials, which I sift and disinfect.
Composition:
Pine bark 5-6 mm
Perlite 2-6 mm
Expanded clay 3-8 mm
