New leaves on my Hoya Polyneura

I swear I will never understand this plant. I am pretty sure that its roots are 90% rotted: I was just waiting for warmer, sunnier weather to re-root it. And then bam! A new pair of leaves.

Okay, I guess?? I’ll wait until the new leaves form and harden and then I’ll re-root it.

🪴 Substrate – perlite/pumice/bark mix in self-watering pit with wick
☀️ Light – natural light in my bedroom. It’s actually quite dark there – it seems the polyneura doesn’t react well to the too bright light from my Sansi lamps
☔ Humidity – normal room humidity, about 50-60%
🍃 Special notes – I keep the reservoir full at all times, and I never water from the top. If I water from the top, she will drop the leaves or stop growing. So I just fill the reservoir and let the wick do its work
