Hoya Flamingo Dream in semi-hydro

I have a really odd relationship with my Hoya Flamingo Dream. When I first got it a year ago I was really in love with it – but then it got a root rot and after rerooting it got a root rot again. I mean how hard can it be to keep a simple Carnosa hybrid!
Then I decided to try a simple semi-hydro setup with double cup method (in a ricotta bowl with plastic mesh) and somehow it works.
So now I have this beautiful specimen with pink leaves in sem-hydro and she’s doing okay (at least for now).

🪴 Substrate – semi-hydro with pon
☀️ Light – Sansi 15W
☔ Humidity – normal room humidity, about 50-60%
🍃 Special notes – rooted easily in pon, roots are dense and thick
